  • UE: Written Language Project

    A 10-hour business scenario project (still uncredited) which I created for the new University English: Written Language for Business course at CityU.

  • SOLAR Phase 2

    • integrated with testing site; target: return feedback to students within three days; marker friendly system; student-friendly feedback

  • 12-hour Self-access Package for Information Systems Department -  48 Hours
  • Developing 3 Writing Papers for SOLAR - 24 Hours

 

Professional Development AIMS:

  • Writing an article on using Flickr for vocabulary building and content area reading (semester a 2008-2009)
  • Implement a variety of cooperative learning strategies (STAD, CIRC, Jigsaw, etc.) in the classroom. 
  • Incorporate Web 2.0 technology into writing courses and interactive communication courses to create best practices.
  • Utilize different strategies for writing non-fiction texts.   Become familiar with non-fiction writing skills. 
  • Applying to study for an M.A. in English Studies (semester b 2008-2009)
  • Write memoirs (2008-2009 academic year)
  • Writing a research paper on the habits of language exchange partners (Cantonese for English) (semester b 2008-2009)
  • 1-hour teacher development (TD) session on how to use Google Documents - 13.11.08
