Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1) Which language will be used?

Everything can be performed in Chinese, though students will have a worksheet to complete that is written in English; I do hope that students will ask questions in English, given the curriculum support, but will not be disappointed if they do not do so. 

2) What will students wear on the day of their community service day?

Students will wear their P.E. uniforms.

3) How much manpower will  be provided on the community service day?

Methodist College

One teacher will accompany every 20 students; I, too, will join if I am not at another church at the same time for this activity.

We will have about 4 volunteers in each team (of ten students) to follow the students

4) Will students be allowed to take photos and videos to document their experience?

Students can take photos and videos inside the church; so far as taking photos and videos outside is concerned, it is best to use discretion as some situations may be inappropriate for video- and photo-taking

5) Where will the students walk?

The community walk will pass three checkpoints (Yau Ma Tei community centre rest garden , King George W Menorial Park , Yau Ma Tei police station).
